We’re currently seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate new business opportunities for various tech-focused clients in our portfolio—ranging from SaaS startups to more established software providers. Role & Responsibilities
1. Pipeline Generation
- Research & List-Building: Identify target accounts and key decision-makers within assigned verticals or territories.
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Strategically engage prospects through email, phone, and social channels—creating a steady flow of new business opportunities.
2. Qualification & Discovery
- Initial Call Outreach: Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects’ pain points and high-level objectives.
- Lead Handoff: Qualify potential fits thoroughly, then pass them to the appropriate Account Executive or Senior Sales Lead for deeper consultation and closing.
3. Data Management & Reporting
- CRM Maintenance: Keep our CRM updated with accurate contact details, activity logs, and opportunity status.
- Metrics & Reporting: Provide regular insights into outreach volume, lead quality, and pipeline movement. Share feedback to refine targeting and messaging.
4. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Team Alignment: Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to craft effective outreach sequences and sales collateral.
- Skill Development: Participate in coaching sessions, role-plays, and internal workshops—aiming to grow into a Full-Cycle AE role as you gain experience.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Experience & Ambition
- Background: 1+ year(s) in a B2B SDR, BDR, or Inside Sales role—ideally with some exposure to SaaS, tech, or AI offerings.
- Goal-Oriented: Strong drive to exceed activity and pipeline targets; aspiration to become a Full-Cycle AE.
2. Communication & Resilience
- Outbound Mindset: Comfortable with high-volume outreach and able to handle rejection with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
- Articulate & Personable: Capable of delivering concise yet compelling pitches—both written and verbal.
3. Tech Proficiency
- CRM Savvy: Experience with mainstream CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to track progress and maintain clean data.
- Sales Engagement Tools: Familiarity with email automation, dialing platforms, or LinkedIn outreach is a plus.
4. Curiosity & Adaptability
- Learning Mindset: Quick to grasp new products or industries; open to feedback and coaching.
- Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment—willing to pivot tactics based on data and team input.
