We’re hiring a Social Media Marketing Manager to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline for our B2B tech clients across diverse social platforms. If you’re adept at crafting resonant content, growing online communities, and turning social followers into real leads, this role is your chance to have an outsized impact on multiple tech brands.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Platform Selection & Goals: Identify the most relevant social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, industry-specific forums) for each client’s target audience.
- Editorial Calendar: Create and maintain a dynamic content calendar aligned with product launches, campaign themes, and thought leadership initiatives.
2. Content Creation & Publishing
- High-Value Content: Develop or oversee the creation of short-form posts, visuals, infographics, and micro-videos that speak to B2B buyers’ pain points and aspirations.
- Tone & Voice: Ensure each client’s unique brand voice is respected and carried through all social touchpoints.
3. Community Engagement & Growth
- Audience Interaction: Respond to comments, questions, and direct messages in a timely, professional manner; spark meaningful discussions.
- Influencer & Partner Collaboration: Identify industry influencers or complementary brands for cross-promotions, guest posts, or co-branded initiatives.
4. Campaign Management & Paid Social
- Paid Social Strategy: Plan and execute sponsored posts or ads on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter, focusing on lead capture and brand awareness.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor ad spend, CTR, CPC, and lead quality—iterating on targeting or creatives to improve ROI.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- KPIs & Metrics: Track follower growth, engagement rate, referral traffic, and conversions to pipeline.
- Continuous Optimization: Present bi-weekly or monthly performance reports, highlighting successes, insights, and next-step recommendations.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Demand Generation Alignment: Coordinate with Demand Gen and Product Marketing teams to align social campaigns with wider marketing goals and product messaging.
- Sales & Customer Success Feedback: Gather feedback on message resonance and audience pain points to refine social content strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Experience & Impact
- 4+ years in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing—ideally with B2B SaaS or tech clients.
- Proven success in growing social followings and driving measurable engagement or lead generation outcomes.
2. Content & Communication Expertise
- Strong Writing Skills: Able to communicate technical or value-based messages clearly and persuasively in short social formats.
- Design Eye: Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create or guide compelling visuals.
3. Platform & Tools Mastery
- Social Platforms: Proficient with LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, and emerging channels (e.g., Threads, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) as relevant to B2B.
- Analytics & Scheduling: Experience with tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Google Analytics, or native platform dashboards.
4. Analytical Mindset
- Data-Driven: Able to interpret KPIs (engagement, CTR, CPC, CVR), run A/B tests, and adapt strategy based on insights.
- ROI Focus: Understands how social media contributes to the broader demand-generation funnel and pipeline metrics.
5. Collaborative & Proactive
- Team Player: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Gen) to unify messaging and share learnings.
